David and Carol discovered the Red Feather Lakes area while on a weekend camping trip in late summer 2009. They quickly purchased a home and are now fulltime residents. The Birks are real estate savvy having bought and sold a variety of residential real estate over the last 40 years in Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, and Washington states before discovering this area. David has served on an HOA Board and led its Architectural Review Committee. David holds a Master’s degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Master’s concentration in Adult Learning, Performance & Development. His special interests include camping, do-it-yourself home improvement projects, classical piano, and sacred organ. Carol holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphic Design and spent several years as an Instructional Designer developing training. Carol’s interests are home improvement projects, sewing, stained glass, and pottery. Both David and Carol enjoy spending time with family, especially their grandchildren. Steven Koeckeritz

A native of Minnesota, where he graduated from Saint Olaf College, Steve and his wife Jane first discovered the Red Feather Lakes area while stationed at Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming from 1968 to 1972.  After graduating from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1975, Steve practiced law until 1979 when he  entered the real estate profession.  Steve established Lone Pine Realty in 1983.  He has served as a director of the Crystal Lakes Road and Recreation/Water and Sewer Associations since 1983 and as a member of the Glacier View Meadows Subdivision Improvements Agreement Management Group since 1991.  Special interests include running, golf, scuba diving and most any other outdoor activity.


Nolan Larkey

Nolan Larkey moved to the Red Feather Lakes area from his native Kansas in 1985 and joined Lone Pine Realty as the Branch Broker of the Red Feather Lakes office in April of 1987. He developed an interest in home building and design and has been a knowledgeable source of advice and support for property owners. For 5 years, he contributed to the community as a wild land/structure firefighter and medical responder. He is currently licensed in Colorado and is a member of the Ft. Collins Board of Realtors. Nolan enjoys golf, camping, hiking and more recently, has developed a serious interest in photography. A collage of his images is displayed in  the Red Feather Lakes office. He and his wife, Harline, share a passion for animals and Nolan has been actively involved in the training and care of their Great Danes and horses for 25 years.

Russ Wiedeman, GRI

Russ was born and raised in Northern Colorado, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts from the University of Northern Colorado. Russ moved to Fort Collins in 1983 and has been selling mountain property in Larimer County since 2002. His hobbies include wood working, camping, fishing, golfing, and gardening. Michael "Mike" R. Bilo

Mike grew up in the Englewood/Littleton area just south of Denver. In his younger days, while involved in The Boy Scouts, Mike developed a love for the outdoors and many of the activities associated with being in the mountains. Currently, his career with a Metro Fire Rescue Authority south of Denver is winding towards its' end. But, Mike has discovered a new "fire" for his life by helping others realize their dream of living the "Good Life." He has pursued this calling by fulfilling the position of Associate Broker with Lone Pine Realty. He often can be found in the Crystal Lakes area fly-fishing, hiking, exploring and viewing the wildlife with his soulmate Janet. Marge Rosenbach

Marge joined the vacation rental staff in the fall of 2010.  She has been in the property management business for more than 26 years and managed a 300 unit apartment community in Fort Collins for the past 23 years.  She is putting her vast experience and knowledge into her work here at Lone Pine Realty.  Marge and her husband Dale built in Glacier View Meadows in 2000 when the last of her 4 sons moved out and they became empty nesters.  All Marge’s children live in nearby Fort Collins. She has 10 grandchildren and loves to spend every minute with them that she can.  Marge loves the outdoors and all its beauty.  Her special interests include hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, quilting and photography.


Rachael Johnson

Rachael is from Minnesota, and Colorado has been home since 2007. She earned her Bacholor's Degree in Psychology and Business Management and her Master's Degree in School Counseling. After years of working in education and counseling, she joined the team at Lone Pine Realty in 2017 and is enjoying her new role and team. In her free time you'll find her spending time with her husband and two boys outdoors, hiking, camping, tending her chickens, gardening, making creations from wood, mason jars, or paper, and doing refinishing projects.
