Steve and Nancy Ault purchased their first camping lot in the 12th filing of Crystal Lakes in 2000 and soon realized that this was where they wanted to spend their free time, exploring all that Red Feather has to offer.  Nancy grew up with a second home in Winter Park and the mountains have always been a favorite destination for her family. In 2007, they transitioned to a seasonal cabin in the 6th filing, and then to their future year-round home in 2013, where they still reside.

After Steve retired from oilfield sales and Nancy from the Veterinary Diagnostic Lab at CSU in 2020, they moved to the mountain full time. The encouragement of Steve Koeckeritz, who they’d been long-time clients of, plus Nancy’s love of all things real estate, led Nancy to obtain her broker’s license and join the Lone Pine Realty team later that spring. At the end of 2022, Steve and Nancy purchased a 50% interest in Lone Pine Realty and now partner with David & Carol Birks in the business ownership and management.

Steve and Nancy both enjoy ATVing, hiking with their dogs, and fishing in their spare time.
